Otocinclus Catfish – Otocinclus sp. (Oto Catfish)

The Otocinclus Catfish, often called “Otos”, is a small, peaceful algae-eater that makes an excellent addition to freshwater community tanks. Known for their gentle nature and tireless grazing, Otos are especially popular in planted aquariums where they help control algae without harming plants.

These tiny catfish thrive best in groups of 4 or more and spend their time cleaning leaves, glass, and décor, making them both functional and fun to watch.
