Reticulated Knifefish (Papyrocranus afer)
The Reticulated Knifefish is a rare African species known for its beautiful net-like pattern and graceful swimming motion. This unique predator uses its long anal fin to glide effortlessly through the water, making it a stunning centerpiece for large aquariums.
Best suited for experienced aquarists, Papyrocranus afer requires a spacious tank with plenty of cover, subdued lighting, and excellent water quality. While generally peaceful with larger tankmates, it may prey on smaller fish.
