The common Bristlenose is a great beginner Plecostomus due to its small size and hardiness. Provide plenty of hiding spaces, vegetables and driftwood for hiding a grazing. Territorial amongst other Plecostomus but peaceful with other fish. Great for community tanks or smaller cichlid tanks.
