Black widow Frontosa (Cyphotilapia frontosa)

A rare, unique variation of the Black Widow Frontosa that displays broken or marbled lines instead of the standard vertical black bars. Vibrant blue fins contrast the black and white striping that make this fish a great centerpiece or a vibrant shoal - depending on your choice. Best kept with other Lake Tanganyika species, this African Cichlid is the largest of the Lake Tanganyika cichids. 

We have mature tank-raised specimens in stock ranging from 3" to 10". Rare to find them this large!!
